In what amounted to a snooze fest between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets, the Bucs got themselves off the snide and escaped with a 15-10 win.

I’m not exactly sure how to react. I mean, the Buccaneers actually won a game. It wasn’t pretty. In fact, at times, it was pretty boring. However, a win is a win and those are apparently going to be incredibly difficult to come by this season.

In a game that was missing Jameis Winston and Mike Evans, the Bucs had a very difficult time generating any kind of offense. In fact, out of eleven possessions the Bucs punted on six and turned the ball over on one. The Jets had seven punts and three turnovers – one on downs. To say it was a battle of ineptitude through the majority of the game would be an understatement.

The Bucs defense certainly stepped up to the challenge, shutting the Jets down in virtually every facet of the game. Even the touchdown the Jets scored was in garbage time and can be attributed to soft coverage.

With all that said, let’s get into a little more lighthearted edition of Pick Six, shall we?
