The Buccaneers (3-6) managed to snag a victory at home against the New York Jets (4-7). Let’s check out some winners and losers from the game.

They might regret it come draft time, but the Buccaneers managed to get their third win of the season this week in an ugly game against the Jets. The game went just about the way you’d expect from the Bucs and Jets; lots of sloppiness, turnovers, and missed opportunities. Ultimately the Bucs pulled it out 15-10, with the Jets lone touchdown coming in garbage time.

It wasn’t pretty, but there were quite a few candidates for winners in this game. DeSean Jackson put forward a strong performance with Mike Evans suspended for the game, and the defense had a strong afternoon against a quietly solid Jets offense. Given that the Bucs got the W, we’ll start off looking at a few winners, then get to the unfortunate losers.
