It’s been a while since the Buccaneers won a game. We have to remember they are still only 3-6 with a win against the New York Jets. With a three-game road stretch up ahead the Buccaneers need to win them all if they want to keep pace in the NFC playoff race. One loss and it would end their playoff hopes for yet another season.

The Buccaneers finally face their week one opponent, in what was once their bye week, in the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are coming off a short week where they were blown out by the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. Jay Cutler has been exactly how good we could be expected Jay Cutler to be. They also traded Pro Bowl running back Jay Ajayi for a fourth-round pick recently. They have a variety of weapons on both sides of the ball.

However, like the Bucs, the Dolphins have struggled with inconsistency in every asset of the game. They may try to tank the rest of the season for a better draft pick but no coach wants to end the season early. The fate of rest of the Dolphins lies on the shoulders of Smokin’ Jay Cutler. It has many Dolphins fans begging for Ryan Tannehill to come back healthy for the start of next season.
