In Week 10 of the Buccaneers’ 2016 season, a home victory sparked a five game winning streak which put the franchise right back into the playoff race. Can the 2017 squad repeat recent history?

The Buccaneers got the first step going by beating the Jets in the friendly confines of Raymond James Stadium this past week.

It wasn’t an impressive win, but it was a win. The defense

stepped up with six sacks, and Brent Grimes came down with an interception which at least stopped the little momentum Josh McCown and his offense had built up.

Now, with a road trip to Miami, it’s perfectly feasible for Dirk Koetter’s team to string together consecutive wins for the first time this year.

Of course, players and coaches will tell you they aren’t thinking about winning streaks, they’re just focused on the next game. As they should.

We don’t have that problem however, so I posed the question to our Pewter Plank writers.

Can the Buccaneers string together five straight v

ictories? And what are the chances they do so?

They’re responses follow, so enjoy their takes. Also, don’t forget to get us your own takes by hitting the comments, social media, or emailing walkingtheplankpodcast@gmail.com.

As always, thanks for reading, and Go Bucs!
