The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finally put together a win this past Sunday against the fading New York Jets. Looking back at last year, this was the time the Buccaneers put together a very dominate defense that carried the team to five wins in a row.

The possibility of that happening again this year all depends on the defense. If the team can string together a few more in a row, let’s say against Miami and Atlanta, Jamies Winston could come back and help push the team towards some games in January.

If you’re an optimist, like myself, the Buccaneers, depending on a long winning streak and some help from the rest of the NFC, have about a 40% chance of putting these needed wins together to make a post season berth.

It’s not totally impossible to put together three more games since the Bucs play Miami, Atlanta, and an Aaron Rodgers less Green Bay Packers. The Bucs need to play disciplined on both sides of the ball the rest of the way through to make their goal of playing in the playoffs a reality.
