Doug Martin

The Muscle Hampster needs to find a way to keep the offense on the field for sustained drives.  He has not been the kickstart to our running game that many thought he would be after returning from his suspension.

Martin has 11 100-yard rushing games as a Buccaneer and needs one more to pass Warrick Dunn for second-most in franchise history.  This could be the game for it to happen as the Dolphins are giving up an average of 116.2 yards-per-game.  Martin is also nearing another career milestone as he needs 131 more to pass Michael Pittman for the fourth-most scrimmage yards in team history.

This is a make or break game for the Buccaneers if they want to stay in playoff contention and Martin could have to shoulder the load for the Bucs to come out on top.  Don’t be surprised if they can get an early lead to ride Martin and he could get over the 20 carry mark as long as he secures the ball.
