Buccaneers Pick Six: A tale of two halves
By James Yarcho
Six Super Bowl Contenders
As always, this list is compiled before the Sunday Night game is complete.
1.) New Orleans Saints
This team just will not lose. The Redskins had them on the ropes, yet the Saints battle back. It pains me to say it, but this is team is 100% a threat to go all the way.
2.) Philadelphia Eagles
Carson Wentz is fully entrenched in the MVP discussion. I, like many, still remind myself that this is the Eagles and they’ll find a way to blow it.
3.) New England Patriots
I’m not saying it again…
4.) Pittsburgh Steelers
Their most dominant performance of the season on Thursday night. If they keep that up, they might be able to knock off New England. Gotta do something about those home/road splits, though…
5.) Minnesota Vikings
After a bye week, they came out swinging yet again. The division is theirs to lose
21.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Still not sold on them fighting back into the playoff race. They’ve won two in a row for the first time this season, but consider the competition. Let’s see how they do in Atlanta next week before we start to really believe this team can repeat last season’s turnaround.
