The Buccaneers are going into Sunday full off turkey but they better not be drowsy because lose this game and the season is over.

Like the Falcons, the Buccaneers are on a two-game winning streak. Atlanta is coming off a Monday Night Football victory over the Seahawks so the Bucs have a shot on this short week.

Yes, I’ve said the season was over before but a two-game winning streak hasn’t killed this team just yet. They enter this week sitting at 4-6 with a massive winning streak ahead of them if they want to make the playoffs this year. They need to take each game one at a time and this week they are going against their division rival Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have been inconsistent this season losing to the Dolphins and Bills but beating good teams like the Packers, with Aaron Rodgers, and Seattle this past week. Their defense has stepped up recently contributing to their win streak and they still have plenty of weapons on offense. While they might not be at full strength with Devonta Freeman in concussion protocol they have suitable replacements. The Buccaneers will get their first look at the new Falcons stadium as they recently imploded the Georgia Dome. While the Falcons are 2-2 in their new stadium the Bucs have struggled to win on the road. They have only one road win this year coming last week against the struggling Miami Dolphins. This will be a massive prove it test for the Buccaneers because instead of coming off their bye week they have to travel yet again. While they didn’t have to go far this week extra rest would be very important during a stretch run like they need.  They will have the one day advantage on the Falcons but they will be without Jameis yet again and the final six games will make or break the Buccaneers this year.
