Who were the winners and losers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7) loss to the Atlanta Falcons (7-4)?

Coming off of two straight victories, there was hope that the Buccaneers could travel to Atlanta and pull off a shocker to keep their bleak playoff hopes alive. That did not happen, and the Bucs were thrust back into the reality that they are a bad football team. Two touchdowns from Julio Jones helped the Falcons balloon the lead to 27-6, before a late game surge from Ryan Fitzpatrick and the offense brought it to 27-20.

A timely forced fumble by Kendell Beckwith kept the Bucs in it, but for the majority of the day they were helpless to stop Matt Ryan through the air or Tevin Coleman on the ground. Coleman’s 14 yard touchdown with less than two minutes remaining sealed the deal for Atlanta. Let’s take a look at some winners and losers from the NFC south battle.
