NFC WEST

SIT: Quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo – San Francisco 49ers

It’s really exciting for the 49ers that the Jimmy G era has begun, but don’t get too carried away.

START: Los Angeles Rams Defense

Playing against a wounded Cardinals team, the Rams defense is going to look forward to putting their cleat on the necks of a division rival.

SLEEPER: Wide Receiver, Cooper Kupp – Los Angeles Rams

Kupp is very versatile, and has had some up and down weeks in his rookie year. This one looks to be an upswing kind of weekend.

Next: Dotson and Marpet to IR

AFC WEST

SIT: Denver Broncos

Don’t mess with this team at all until 2018. If you have Demaryius Thomas and no better options, you should survive as long as the rest of your roster is good. Other than that, pass on this group.

START: Quarterback, Alex Smith – Kansas City Chiefs

Playing against the Jets does two things for the Chiefs. It gives them a chance to get back to basics and still win a game, and it allows Smith to get rolling again.

SLEEPER: Wide Receiver, Cordarrelle Patterson – Oakland Raiders

No Amari Cooper. No Michael Crabtree. I mean, by sheer volume alone, Patterson has to put up decent numbers. Right?
