We can now officially call the season a wash. With Buccaneers recent loss to division rival Atlanta Falcons, the Buccaneers fell to 0-3 in the division and now 4-7 on the season. There are still a handful of games left and the Buccaneers coaches and players are playing for their jobs. Let’s look at their opponents this week, the Green Bay Packers.

What looked like it could have been a Sunday Night flex game for many Bucs fans at the beginning of the season has now become just another game on the schedule. While the Buccaneers will be getting their star quarterback back, Jameis Winston, the Packers will still be without theirs, Aaron Rodgers. Many Bucs fans have been looking forward to the return of Jameis they will be without their best two offensive linemen, Demar Dotson and Ali Marpet. With the star quarterback returning and two offensive linemen out it definitely isn’t the best scenario, but he was cleared by doctors and his job is to play football. While I would’ve liked him to not play the rest of the season he’s a competitor. The Buccaneers are in a tough spot where the coaches and players are not going to try and fail but if the season progresses as it has, changes will be coming this offseason. The Bucs travel to Wisconsin for the first time since 2011 where they got a heavy dose of Aaron Rodgers. This week they will be seeing the backup Brett Hundley and the Packers still fairly potent offense.
