Wide Receiver Davante Adams

While he was a role player a few seasons ago he has become a viable number two receiver for the Packers quarterback. While Jordy Nelson is still the best receiver the Packers have on their roster he’s been keyed on by defenses and Hundley may not feel comfortable throwing him the ball against teams top corner. Also with Vernon Hargreaves likely out again he will be lined up against Ryan Smith who is playing his first season at corner in the NFL. He’s not an elite corner by far and the Packers will pick on him this week just like the Falcons did with Julio Jones last week. Since Aaron Rodgers has gone down Hundley has been utilizing Adams as their best offensive weapon.

In the five full games of Rodgers absence, Davante has 27 catches for 363 yards and two touchdowns. Giving him a solid 73 yards per game average. While he hasn’t put up the numbers that Aaron Rodgers helped him produce no one expected him to. Jordy Nelson currently doesn’t have a 40 yard game with Hundley under center. Having production from an unproven back up definitely should keep you on the radar for opposing coaches. The Buccaneers will likely struggle against the multiple offensive weapons that the Green Bay Packer can utilize with anybody throwing the ball.
