With all three quarterbacks in play for this coming game, the Buccaneers have some decisions to make.

The first and easiest decision in my opinion, is to sit Jameis Winston and have him come into the game as an inactive. The why is pretty simple, The Bucs have nothing to play for this season.

The season was over long ago. The Patriots game seemed to really dampen the mood around the team. It was a winnable game in which kicking and play calling doomed us to a narrow loss.

At this point, what benefits are there from having Winston play a game? Doug Martin is struggling through a concussion and the running game has been miserable. Winston should sit and rest his shoulder.

Now comes the tough part. While Ryan Fitzpatrick has performed admirably in Winston’s absence, in the preseason, Ryan Griffin was quite sharp. He looked impressive in limited action and since he’s healthy, maybe the Bucs should see what they have in the young guy.

If it was me, I’m sitting Fitzpatrick and letting Griffin get the start. Why not? I would argue he gives Tampa the same chance to win as Fitzpatrick does.

Winston goes inactive, Fitz sits and Griffin starts. In reality? Winston will play while Fitzpatrick backs him up and Griffin gets the inactive spot.
