The Tampa Bay Buccaneers blew it in every possible way to snatch defeat from the hands of victory against the Green Bay Packers.

There’s virtually nothing good about this Buccaneers team. Outside of a few players, this is just a flat out bad football team. The offense was unable to get much going if it didn’t involve a hand off or a pass that took less than 1.5 seconds thanks to an offensive line that let more people through than the ticket takers in Lambeau. The defense gave us a glimmer of hope until they couldn’t come up with a stop at a crucial point for the up-teenth time this season.

The whole thing sucks.

The Packers escaped with a 26-20 overtime win in a game where the Buccaneers ran nearly twenty-five more offensive plays and dominated the time of possession. The Bucs didn’t even get the chance to touch the ball in overtime thanks to a defense that allowed an eight play, 72-yard drive for a touchdown.

The offense got inside the five yard line twice, but only came away with one touchdown. Evan Smith was a complete disaster committing unforgivable penalties on nearly every drive as well as a premature snap on 3rd-and-goal, forcing a field goal by Pat Murray.

Whether you’re an offensive apologist or a defensive apologist, there’s no winning either argument after this one. Let’s pick six…
