The Buccaneers seem to manage to find a way lose every week now. With the overtime loss to Green Bay, the Buccaneers are now 4-8.  The Buccaneers already have a worse record than last year so the remaining games mean more about draft position than anything. They take on the Lions, who are still competing for a playoff spot, in Tampa this week. Let’s look at some Lions players to watch.

The Detroit Lions are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Baltimore Ravens, falling to 6-6. While they are four games behind the Vikings for the division they are just two games back from the Panthers and Seahawks for an NFC Wildcard spot. The Lions have four games left this season and all teams have a .500 record or worse so they’re going for it. With the Packers still down Aaron Rodgers for at least another week, this may be their best shot to get a game over the Packers. This will be the Buccaneers last game outside the division so they can try and play spoiler for the remainder of the season. While the Buccaneers haven’t been eliminated from the playoffs yet they can be this week with a loss or wins by Seattle and Carolina. The playoffs haven’t been on the Bucs radar since the beginning of the season but the Lions are trying to get back there after losing to Seattle last season. While many Bucs fans may want a loss for draft position ending another teams season is always fun to watch. The Lions have some good players so let’s look at who can be the biggest difference maker on Sunday.
