Wide Receiver Julio Jones

In seven games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Julio Jones has good enough numbers for an entire season. In those seven games, Julio has 61 receptions, 965-yards, and seven touchdowns. To compare those numbers this season in twelve games Mike Evans has 55 catches, 760-yards, and four touchdowns.

Earlier this year we got a sample of what he could do when he had twelve catches, 253-yards, and two touchdowns. The Buccaneers have no one that can keep up, size up, and get up with Julio. Jones has been a physical freak since being drafted but has had quiet games. He only has three 100-yard games this year and against the Bucs, he put up more than double his next highest yardage.

Must Read: Nightmare Julio

With Brent Grimes as the best corner on the Bucs roster, he can not contain Julio Jones. Their best game plan would be doubling him with press coverage. The Bucs may try that but it won’t help when they need to contain all the other options the Falcons have. Matt Ryan can spread the ball around, he was the MVP last year, and Julio will get his this Monday night.
