The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-10) hosted the Atlanta Falcons (9-5) on Monday night football, but couldn’t manage to come away with a victory. Which players were winners and losers in the game?

Despite a loss, a wave of injuries, several embarrassing referee gaffs, and myself having to leave the game at halftime so my ride could make their bed-time, the Buccaneers showdown at home against the Falcons still managed to be a pretty fun Monday night. The Bucs were competitive all night and, most importantly, Jameis Winston proved that he can be an elite quarterback.

Against an opportunistic Falcon defense and with Cam Brate, O.J. Howard, and DeSean Jackson all injured at different points in the game, Jameis Winston had his finest game of the season. The offense as a whole functioned the way we’d hoped it would way back in August, and it seemed to be their most well-executed game in quite a while. The defense was less impressive, but considering how ravaged they were by injury, they get a little bit of a pass.

Let’s take a broader look at who came out of the game as winners and losers.
