Jon Gruden was inducted to the Buccaneers Ring of Honor on Monday night. In the game surrounding the ceremony, the Bucs put up a good effort but it was not enough unfortunately.

Gruden’s induction was well deserved, as he is the only coach in Bucs history to lead them to a Super Bowl victory.

The next Buc to be inducted, in my opinion should be Ronde Barber.

Barber is the best cornerback in team history easily. He has had countless big moments, such as his pick six in the NFC Championship game against the Eagles.

His play basically won them the game and sent them to the Super Bowl. Barber also picked up several individual accolades such as being a five time pro bowler and a three time first-team All Pro.

The best thing about Barber was probably that he never missed time and he holds the record for most consecutive starts for a defensive back with 215, which is incredible.

Not to mention Barber is one of two players in NFL history to have 40 plus interceptions and 20 plus sacks, the other being the great Charles Woodson.

Barber easily has the resume to be in the Ring of Honor, it’s just a matter of if the Bucs have someone else they’d want to induct first. I am not sure who else it could be.
