Defensive End, Will Clarke (#94)

In his fourth year, and first with the Buccaneers, it certainly appears Will Clarke has made an impression on the coaching staff.

Despite being one of the newer members of the squad, he’s been on the active roster for all but one game this year.

In his limited action, he’s turned in two and a half sacks on the season, and is one of just four players on the Bucs defense with more than one.

The others are McCoy, Clinton McDonald, and Ayers.

With the last one of those guys sitting this week out, Clarke is certainly going to get some more work.

Must Read: Panthers to Watch in Week 16

In Week 8, Tampa Bay didn’t get to the Panthers’ quarterback once for a sack. This without a doubt had a profound impact on the final result, a loss at home for their first divisional loss of the year.

The Panthers offensive line has surrendered 31 sacks in 2017 which ranks them right in the middle of the pack.

It’s not going to be easy necessarily, but opportunities will be there. For guys like Clarke, every snap counts no matter your team’s playoff status.

Expect to see hard play from him, and hopefully a sack or two will come along with it.
