Some will say making it to the conference championship just to lose is almost worse than not making the playoffs at all, but I bet Buccaneers fans would disagree. On the heels of their losses, which Jaguars and Vikings could be hitting the open market?

More importantly, which ones might the Buccaneers look to add to their own roster?

We’ve been looking at the eliminated teams as their seasons came to an end. This week, it’s Jacksonville and Minnesota.

They lost in very different fashions, but I’m sure the pain was very similar.

For the Jaguars, questions at quarterback and wide receiver loom the largest. Depth at running back, on the offensive line and at tight end are questions to be answered as well.

Safe to say the Jacksonville defense is fairly well stocked, but they could be losing a big piece this off-season as well. Bigger than most realize anyway.

For Minnesota, one game away from playing a Super Bowl in their home stadium is going to sting for a long time. Especially if the Eagles end up winning on their home ground.

A team who came into the season with plenty of questions at quarterback leaves with even more.

Running back may become an issue as well as one of theirs looks to be a prime target in this year’s free-agent pool. They have Dalvin Cook of course, but what else to they have behind him if their guy leaves?

Not much.

Most of them will return, but there are a few who will leave. These are the guys we’re looking at. And so, should Jason Licht.
