Quarterback, Kyle Lauletta – Richmond

Raise your hand if you saw Lauletta coming this weekend. Ok, now put your hand down because you’re a liar.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, predicted the performance the Richmond quarterback gave this weekend.

Completing over 66% of his passes, the Spider threw for 198-yareds and three touchdowns finishing with a rating of 287.8.

I mean, what?

Don’t get too wrapped up in the immediate hype though, Lauletta is still a day three prospect, but now he’s got more upside than before.

Whether Ryan Fitzpatrick returns to be the backup for the Buccaneers is still in limbo. Ryan Griffin hasn’t gotten the chance to show anything outside of pre-season. So, now might be a good time to bring in another young passer with potential.

Another guy to watch in the fifth round or later. If the draft were today, and he’s still on the board in the sixth, I almost don’t see how the Bucs don’t grab him at this point.

However, there is still a lot to sift through, so for now add this quarterback to your list just don’t go printing the customized jersey just yet.

This wraps up our look at NFL.com’s list of prospects who helped their stock at the 2018 Senior Bowl. Are there any guys you saw in addition to these? Let me know in the comments or on social media. Thanks for reading.
