The Buccaneers need it for planning their scouting activities, and draft enthusiasts needed it to really get their gears going. On Tuesday, the NFL released the full list of players invited to the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine.

More than 300 collegiate players will work out, be measured, and get interviewed by teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they participate in this year’s combine.

Every year we see the normal grouping of players. Those who did what we thought they would (the majority), those who stood out in their workouts, and those who disappointed.

Of course, not every player will participate in every drill as some nurse injuries and some just choose not to take unnecessary risks to prevent damaging themselves and their draft stock.

Most of the eyes will be on the quarterbacks this year, as a whopping five have been on the radar as potential first round selections.

Teams like the Bucs benefit from this of course, as they are in need of just about every position but the quarterback.

The more pass rushers, running backs, linemen and defensive backs get passed up for passers, the better Tampa Bay stands to bring home a solid draft class.

There have been some fairly popular names to this point in Buccaneers draft circles. Let’s take a look at three positions and names to watch as we preview which drills will be most important when watching them at the 2018 NFL Combine.
