Mock drafts are just part of the fun this time of year, but let’s all just admit we’re ready to see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers get on the clock for real and settle this debate once and for all.

While we’re all ready for it, it doesn’t mean we can’t take one more spin around the mock draft merry-go-round and try to predict just how things will fall for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In previous versions I stayed away from trades. For one, trades are unpredictable and there isn’t a whole lot we can truthfully assume will happen.

But, this year is a bit different. There have already been more trades than I ever remember during the early part of the off-season, which gives me a little more confidence there are general managers out there willing to wheel and deal.

Of course, the majority of the trade speculation has surrounded the four quarterbacks.

With plenty of NFL franchise’s in search of franchise quarterbacks, and four candidates to be future stars in the league, there should be plenty of phone calls being exchanged between war rooms.

Even the New England Patriots have had speculation surrounding what they might do with their two first-round picks.

Now, since I’m allowing myself the freedom of trading there will obviously be at least one. However, I’m not going to get too deep into the weeds here, so forgive me if I don’t effectively break down the three to seven combined picks which may exchange hands.

Instead, we’re just going to have to all agree that if I’m going with a first round swap, the team trading up is willing to pay the price to do so.

Since we’ve got all those details out of the way, let’s get straight to it.
