Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Who is the pick at seven?

Trade: Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade the No. 7 pick to the Arizona Cardinals for the No. 15 and No. 47 picks in the 2018 NFL Draft
I might be cheating, but my prediction is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t picking anyone with the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
If you read my final mock draft for the season you already know what’s coming. The Arizona Cardinals need a quarterback of the future, and with three gone they make a deal to move up and grab one.
The Colts area potential partner, as are the Bears and the 49ers even. But only the Bucs can afford to take slightly less than a King’s ransom for their pick with their top players off the board.
So, with the 15th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: Derrius Guice, running back, LSU.
And the crowd goes wild. Maybe.
See, I said the Bucs’ top players, not top three players were off the board.
Quenton Nelson is still very much available the way I see this going down tonight, and still Jason Licht pulls off a trade.
It won’t be popular. Likely, some fans of the team will be calling for Licht to be fired before the night ends if it happens.
However, I truly believe the signing of Ryan Jensen and the additions to the defensive line were done all to give Licht and the team the ability to focus outside of the trenches in the early part of the draft.
So, while Nelson is a very talented young player, he’s not more talented than Derrius Guice and two second-round draft picks.
