The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered the offseason with major needs in the trenches. They completely rebuilt the defensive line through free agency and a trade before spending their first-rounder on defensive tackle Vita Vea. Along the offensive line, Tampa Bay had only added center Ryan Jensen through free agency. That was a big addition in its own right, but it also gave the team freedom to move Ali Marpet back to guard. With some solid prospects still available on day two, the feeling was that the Bucs would further address the offensive line.

After spending two second round picks on the defense, general manager Jason Licht traded up into the third round to go back to the offense. With his new pick, he selected Alex Cappa out of Humboldt State. Cappa played tackle in college, but it looks like he will transition to the guard position in the NFL.

The Bucs have effectively filled some big-time needs in the first two days of the draft. Before we get to the day three guys, we have three things you should know about Alex Cappa.
