The big moves may be done with for now, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven’t stopped adjusting their roster yet. Signing two more young talents to the 90-man roster in the latest set of moves.

Last week we learned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought on cornerback Mark Myers and guard Ruben Holcomb to the 90-man roster after solid rookie minicamp appearances.

Now, two more players will join them from those tryouts as Tampa signed Shaheed Salmon and Thomas Sperbeck as well.

Sperbeck is likely to be remembered by fans of the team as he joined the squad out of Boise State last season for a short time.

His four-year career with the Broncos was capped off in 2016 with a Senior season which marked his second straight with 80 or more catches and over 1200-yards receiving. He also had seventeen scores in the final two years he spent in college.

As much as no one player is a carbon copy of another, Sperbeck looks a bit like Adam Humphries on the field. Bringing him back could get a bit more intriguing if he can stay healthy and perform on the field, especially with Humphries’ upcoming free-agency in 2019.

Salmon is a little lesser known at this point most likely, but he’ll certainly be looking to change this.

In a Draft Diamonds interview, Salmon compared his style to that of Deion Jones from the Atlanta Falcons.

Of course, this doesn’t mean fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should expect the same rise and performance from Salmon as the Falcons got from Jones, but it’s a good way to view what traits he may bring to the field.

Depth was and still is a big concern for the Bucs at linebacker. With stars like Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander leading the charge, second-year player Kendall Beckwith will hope to recover quickly from his off-season ankle injury and return to form soon.

Drafting Jack Cichy was a step in the right direction for the Bucs in providing depth behind them, and it looks like Salmon will get a chance to stake claim to a depth spot as well.

To make room for these two players, the team released linebacker Jeff Knox opting to roll with Salmon for the time being.
