Kenny Vaccaro

Just a few years ago, Kenny Vaccaro was a Rookie of the Year candidate and the lone bright spot on a putrid New Orleans defense.

Fast forward to 2018 and he is struggling to find a job. He was poised to be an All-Pro safety, but injuries and inconsistency has stopped his career in its tracks.

Despite the concerns about his play, Vaccaro still had the ability to flash his superstar potential. Perhaps a change of scenery could make a huge impact on his career.

Last season, Vaccaro had 60 tackles, 1.5 sacks and three picks in 12 games. The former first-round pick is just 27-years-old and still has the ability to become a star.

Vaccaro’s versatility would be a huge plus for Tampa. He has the ability to play centerfield or in the box to help stuff the run. The veteran comes with injury concerns, but taking a flier on Vaccaro is the right move.

He could also have a little extra motivation come week one, when the Bucs open up against his former team, the New Orleans Saints.
