Don’t forget: Vinny Curry, Defensive end

Coming off a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles, Vinny Curry will be one of the key pieces along the revamped Buccaneers defensive line.

Although he only managed three sacks last season, Curry managed to get in the quarterback’s face consistently. As Tampa tries to mimic the success the Eagles had last season, Curry will find himself in a similar role.

Curry will be integral to a deep and dynamic front for Tampa Bay. His ability to rush the passer and play stout run defense will go a long way to turning around Tampa’s lackluster defense. He may not be as flashy as Jason Pierre-Paul and some other sack artists around the league but he was irreplacable during Philadelphia’s historic championship run.

Another strength of Curry’s  has been his durability. Over the past four seasons, he hasn’t missed a game. He is always available and consistent. Don’t forget about how good Curry can be with a strong unit alongside him.
