Madden 19 helps predict the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2018 season.

It’s officially Madden season. EA Sports’ latest edition of the penultimate football game released on August 7 and football gamers everywhere have called out of work to play.

One of the pillars of Madden has been its franchise mode. Players can take control of an NFL organization and control nearly every aspect of the team. From play calling to roster management to finances, the user is in total control.

In honor of the unofficial holiday, The Pewter Plank will use Madden to project the 2018 season.

Will Jamies Winston be able to take the next step and turn the Bucs into a contender? Can the new-look Tampa defense become one of the best units in the league? The virtual world may have the answers for us.

For the sake of time, the preseason will be skipped, and the final 53-man roster will be based on the recent roster projection posted a few days ago on the site.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers season on the horizon, let’s see what happens when we simulate the 2018 season in Madden.
