Shaun Wilson

A training camp darling, Shaun Wilson has finally made his presence felt in the Bucs pair of previous games. He truly shined against the Detroit Lions, showing off why he has been touted as one of the undrafted players to watch.

Wilson had a handful of impressive returns including a 39-yard kickoff return to set the offense up in excellent field position. His return ability is what will allow him to slide onto the roster. The injury to Charles Sims also helped his cause.

Sims was dealing with his injury problems early on, but he has bounced back and continued to make a push at running back.

Must Read. Shaun Wilson is the missing piece of the Buccaneers running game. light

The former Duke Blue Devil will be a  developmental back; he likely won’t see many snaps early in the year but looks to be the future third-down back for the Buccaneers. Both Peyton Barber and Ronald Jones aren’t the best receiving backs so Wilson could carve out a long-term, valuable role with Tampa Bay.
