Offensive Coordinator: A+

In Todd Monken’s first game calling the plays, he did an outstanding job. He took shots down the field and kept the defense guessing the entire game. He even called a quarterback sneak! I’m sure Jameis Winston would love an opportunity like that. I hope Monken continues to call the plays the rest of the season, Tampa Bay’s offense was really dialed in on Sunday.

Defensive Coordinator: D-

I think defensive coordinator is this team’s biggest weakness. The Bucs have talent and Mike Smith‘s defense looks just like it did in 2017. He continues to have his corners play off-coverage and Drew Brees ate it up.

When Davis got beat for a touchdown he took him out for the next series. That is the recipe to shake a young corners confidence. They say every cornerback needs to have a short memory and move onto the next play. Well, Smith didn’t even give Davis that chance. Smith needs to change his ways if this team plans on going to the playoffs.

Head Coach: A+

Dirk Koetter had the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepared for this game.  They practiced hard all summer and they were ready to play tough against a good team on the road. Koetter gave up the play calling duties which had to of been an extremely hard thing to do. That is what he’s done his entire life and he knew it was best for the team. I applaud coach Koetter in a big way. He does what is right for the Buccaneers. I hope he does what he needs to at defensive coordinator as well.
