The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Monday night in front of the entire country. What’re the craziest, boldest possibilities for the showdown?

If I had written a “Bold Predictions for the 2018 season” article before Week one, and predicted that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would be undefeated after two weeks, I’d have gotten flamed off the internet. I’d have probably called myself crazy. And yet, here we are. The Buccaneers have a chance at a remarkable 3-0 start to the season, and their opponent, the typically vaunted Pittsburgh Steelers, suddenly look vulnerable.

A few not-so-bold things before we get to the fun stuff. For one, this is more than likely going to be a competitive, close-scoring affair. From a strictly talent perspective these two teams are relatively even, and both should get strong performances from their veteran quarterbacks. I think most would agree that the Bucs are ready for the test, and not in risk of being embarrassed like so many of their prime time games in the past. Oh, and you can expect to see quite a few Steelers fans in Raymond James.

Alright, prediction time!
