It was a tough loss for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. From another defensive let down, to a historic day for Mike Evans, here are the takeaways from Week 6.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers almost put together a stunning come from behind victory in their Week 6 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Jameis Winston returned to the starting lineup and kept the offense rolling. Unfortunately, the defensive problems continued as Matt Ryan torched Tampa Bay on his way to a 34-29 win.

The offense has been great, but the defense hasn’t found a way to stop the opposition. This week’s performance was no different. Despite settling in during the second half of play, the Bucs gave up 24 points in the first half and faced an 11 point deficit after two quarters.

Winston did all he could, but the defense let him down yet again. This has become a sad theme throughout Winston’s young career in Tampa Bay. He puts up impressive numbers, but the defense manages to throw the game away.

At the end of the day, Tampa Bay has a chance to sit at .500 after six weeks, something not many would have predicted back in August.

Here are six takeaways from the Buccaneers painful loss to the division rival Falcons.
