Brandon Marshall (Denver Broncos)

The Denver Broncos are shopping some of their veteran players, and the Bucs could look to take advantage.

Linebacker Brandon Marshall has struggled with the Broncos of late, but he would still be a significant upgrade in Tampa Bay. Marshall’s playing time has dipped this season, as he has managed just 16 tackles on the season.

The lack of playing time will likely drop his price tag significantly. If the Buccaneers are looking to improve at linebacker via trade, Marshall may be the cheapest option.

Marshall’s contract isn’t a concern either. Despite being in the middle of a 4-year $32 million deal, Tampa Bay can get out from under the contract after this season. If Marshall’s doesn’t produce, it won’t impact the Bucs in the long term.

Alike, Bowman, Marshall had tremendous success in the past, but the magic has faded. A change in scenery could be the remedy for his struggles.

B.J. Goodson (New York Giants)

The New York Giants are another trade deadline seller who will look to ship off veterans for anything they can get.

B.J. Goodson, who was leapfrogged by Ray-Ray Armstrong this season, has found himself back in the starting role with Armstrong on the injured reserve.

In limited snaps, Goodson racked up 10 solo tackles on the year. Goodson is also in the middle of a reasonable contract until 2019. The Bucs are extremely thin at linebacker and can use Goodson for another season as depth once Alexander returns.
