The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cincinnati Bengals released their inactives for Week 8. The Bucs are in good shape while the Bengals will be shorthanded on both sides of the ball.

Throughout the week, the Buccaneers looked to be in good shape on the injury front. The only players listed on the injury report that won’t play are Gerald McCoy and Vinny Curry.

While the loss of both defensive linemen will hurt, that was the expectation for the entire week as they missed the previous game as well.

However, Peyton Barber and Jason Pierre-Paul were new names that appeared. Thankfully, they are both going to play against the Bengals.

Here are the Buccaneers inactives:

DE Vinny Curry

DT Gerald McCoy

RB Shaun Wilson

OL Alex Cappa

OL Mike Liedtke

DE Demone Harris

QB Ryan Griffin

Bengals inactives:

HB Giovani Bernard

LB Vontaze Burfict

CB Darqueze Dennard

TE Tyler Kroft

WR John Ross

LB Nick Vigil

C Billy Price

The Bengals are devastated with injuries this week. Multiple starters on both sides of the ball will sit out with injuries.

Burfict may make the headlines, but the loss of Dennard is enormous. He is the Bengals starting slot corner. With the Buccaneers talented receivers, there could be a mismatch in the Cincy secondary.

On offense, scatback Giovani Bernard won’t play. Speedy receiver John Ross will also miss this game. The Bengals are still in good hands with A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd.

Throughout a long NFL season, teams sometimes run into an opponent at the perfect time. That may be the case for Tampa Bay this week as they face a depleted Cincinnati squad.
