The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have endured a tough season thus far. However, there has been a handful of surprises that have made the 2018 season worthwhile.

It’s been a season of ups and downs for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

An offense on a historic pace for all the right reasons, and a defense on a historic pace for all of the wrong reasons. The dazzling display of “FitzMagic” early, and it’s vanishing act. The hope of an improved defense, and the reality of its failures.

With all of the headlines surrounding the Bucs quarterback situation and defensive woes, there have been a number of surprising players on both sides of the ball. These players have allowed the Bucs to have mediocre success this season.

One veteran is making one last run while he has the chance and another is trying to return to All-Pro form. An underrated receiver has made his mark ever so quietly. A young offensive threat has also taken Tampa Bay by storm.

Here are some of the most pleasant surprises for the Buccaneers this season.
