Which three players have been the most disappointing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season?

2018 hasn’t been the season that most Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans had hoped that it would become.

After Sunday’s loss to Washington Redskins, where the offense gained 501 yards and had just three points to show for their effort, the optics of the season have shifted.

The Bucs got off to a hot start. There was positivity surrounding the franchise. The high-powered offense looked like it could translate to victories, something the Bucs haven’t seen much of this past decade.

The magic would fade. Tampa Bay would go on to lose six of their next seven games and sit three games under .500. Looking up at two NFC South juggernauts. Quickly, the season has turned into looking towards 2019.

Offensively the Buccaneers have cooled off. The defensive issues won’t be fixed this season either as young defensive backs will have to endure a few more weeks of growing pains.

Amidst the losing, a handful of Buccaneers players have struggled in 2018. From high-profile rookies to a franchise-defining player, Tampa Bay needed more from these players.
