TE O.J. Howard

It’s time to jump onto the Howard bandwagon. There was no denying Howard’s immense talent coming out of the draft. It seemed like he fit perfectly in Tampa Bay. The Bucs had a young quarterback and talented receivers that would help take the pressure off of him early.

In year two, Howard has flashed brilliance. From long touchdown catches to finding his groove in the red zone, it won’t be long before his name enters the elite tight end conversation.

There aren’t enough targets to go around where he will put up top-tier numbers this season. However, his 16.8 yards per catch show how much of a mismatch he can be. When he runs past a linebacker in coverage, defensive backs have a tough time dragging him to the ground.

Howard may not have all Buccaneers fans sold yet, but they all should be thankful for him.
