Jason Pierre-Paul gets his revenge

In his first game back in MetLife Stadium, Jason Pierre-Paul had a good homecoming. He totaled seven tackles and 1.5 sacks on his old friend Eli Manning.

Pierre-Paul was the only defender that showed up in the first half. He pressured Manning and made a few plays in the run game.

Pierre-Paul now sits on the cusp of becoming the first Buccaneer with double-digit sacks since Simeon Rice reached the feat in 2005.

Mike Evans returns to form

In his previous two contests, Evans combined for 66 yards on just four catches. He was targeted 16 times in those games; the numbers didn’t add up.

Evans figured it out against New York with a six-catch, 120-yard explosion. His late touchdown grab added the exclamation point to his already impressive day.

Evans continues to show why he is one of the ten best receivers in the league. There’s an argument to be made that he should have had a few more catches early on if Fitzpatrick saw him.
