Tampa Bay’s offense is talented. Jameis Winston will likely get one more shot to turn the franchise around in 2019. Weapons in the backfield and on the outside surround Winston. Unfortunately, he won’t be protected well up front.

That’s been the one weakness for the Buccaneers this season. They need help up front.

Donovan Smith may enter free agency and Demar Dotson is entering his age 34 season, it is time to look at the offensive tackle position in the Draft.

Dalton Risner is the player Bucs fans should become familiar with. A borderline day one tackle, he could be on the board at the top of the second round, where Tampa will likely pick.

Risner is a solid bookend who can succeed in the running game from the start. He may struggle in pass protection, but he should be able to start at right tackle in 2019.

Risner provides the attitude Tampa Bay desperately needs in the run game. The Kansas State product should be high on the Bucs target list this offseason.
