Mike Evans makes history

A.J. Green. Randy Moss. Mike Evans.

Those are the only players in NFL history to have 1,000 receiving yards in each of their first five seasons. Evans reached the 1,000-yard mark late in the first quarter against the 49ers.

Evans has already etched his name at the top of nearly every Buccaneers receiving category, but he is now making his mark across the league. At only 25 years old, Evans will be putting up monster numbers in Tampa Bay for years to come.

Evans capped his historic day with six catches and 116 yards. Evans is still pace to crush his career best in receptions and receiving yards.

Jason Pierre-Paul snaps the streak

When general manager Jason Licht’s tenure is over in Tampa Bay, the Jason Pierre-Paul trade will go down as one of his best moves. In his first season in red and pewter, ‘JPP’ has become the Bucs best pass rusher.

He has racked up 10.5 sacks already, becoming the first Buccaneer to record double-digit sacks since Simeon Rice in 2005.

Pierre-Paul has played like a warrior this season. He injured his knee against the 49ers but managed to find his way back on the field in the second half. Pierre-Paul fought through injuries often this season and has still stood out as the team’s best defensive player.
