The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took care of the Carolina Panthers. Here are seven takeaways from the Bucs’ big win in front of the home fans.

Last week’s Buccaneers win was the perfect formula. The defense managed a few takeaways as Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay offense moved the ball efficiently.

This week’s win over the Carolina Panthers wasn’t something the coaches drew up. The Buccaneers defensive unit was the star of the game. An unknown safety had a career performance and the defensive front brought the pressure.

Offensively the Bucs put up enough points, but the unstoppable force was shut down late. During the role reversal, the defense made the headlines as the offense tried to stay out of their way.

Regardless, the victory jolted some life back into the Tampa Bay fan base. It will still take plenty of help to make the postseason, there is some hope that the Bucs can play a few more meaningful December games.

Here are the most important takeaways from the Buccaneers Week 13 win.
