Lavonte David remains ELITE

In Lavonte David‘s first game back from an MCL sprain, he quickly returned to elite form. He led the team with 12 total tackles while adding a sack, and a pass defense.

In the first quarter, David came off the edge and flattened Newton to bring some juice to the Tampa Bay defense.

David continued to show why he remains the heart of the Buccaneers. Although the Bucs sit on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs, David rarely takes a play off. He continued to attack the Panthers and try and knock Christian McCaffrey backward.

He will lead a patchwork linebacking corps for the rest of the season. You can bet he will get the most out of the group with four games left to play.
