Buccaneers seven-round 2019 NFL Mock Draft
By Ryan Doyle
NFL teams can never have enough depth along the defensive line. Late in the draft, Tampa Bay should look for a rotational lineman with some versatility.
The Bucs can snag another Bulldog Jonathan Ledbetter to provide some production behind the veteran pass rushers already on the roster. Noah Spence will be gone, William Gholston is replaceable. Ledbetter can replace both of them at a fraction of the cost.
Ledbetter will have fantastic teachers with Vinny Curry and Jason Pierre-Paul in the film room with him. As the Bucs pass rush continues to improve, Ledbetter can be a part of the transformation.
He won’t do anything flashy, but he can play a role from day one. It’s hard to ask for more from a player drafted at this point
The Buccaneers do not own their 2019 seventh-round pick after sending it away along with safety J.J. Wilcox to Pittsburgh last year. They selected Wisconsin linebacker Jack Cichy in the trade.
