Other potential moves

DE Vinny Curry – Curry is having an underrated season, but his $8 million price tag could open up money to use elsewhere. Injuries slowed down his 2018, but he has been a solid complement to Jason Pierre-Paul.

DT William Gholston – The former fourth-round pick earned a nice 5-year, $27.5 million contract in 2017. Two years later, he hasn’t lived up to the payday and cutting him won’t leave any dead cap. Finding a rotational defensive lineman should be an easy task this offseason.

DT Mitch Unrein – Unrein signed with Tampa Bay this past offseason, but a concussion held him out for the entire season.  When healthy, Unrein can provide solid production as a backup defensive tackle, but his injury history could make this decision easy for general manager Jason Licht.

DE Noah SpenceThe former second-round pick has barely seen the field this season. Spence was once projected to be a top-tier pass rusher, but injuries have stopped his career in its tracks. If the Bucs have given up on the once-promising pass rusher, the team could release him in the coming months.
