Buccaneers Fantasy Football Week 16: Start ’em, sit ’em
By Ryan Doyle
For those who are still trying to win a fantasy football championship, find some advice for all of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on your roster.
It’s crunch time in most fantasy leagues. As the playoffs continue, owners still alive likely have at least one of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive players on their roster.
The issue for the Buccaneers this week is the Dallas Cowboys defense. With their dominant defensive line, Dallas can halt Tampa’s running game in its tracts. Without the threat of the run, Winston will be running for his life on Sunday.
Similar to last week’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, it will be a battle of contrasting styles. The Cowboys will keep the ball on the ground and try to grind out a victory at home while Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter would like the offense to take to the air and try to win a shootout on the road.
Although he has been quiet of late, Jameis Winston has a ton of upside from a fantasy perspective. The Bucs still sits at the top of the NFL in passing yards per game.
Tampa also features plenty of wideouts deserving of a roster spot. Mike Evans sits in the top ten in multiple receiving categories, Adam Humphries is one of the best slot receivers in the league, and Cameron Brate is a solid option at a thin tight end position.
Take a look at which players should start, or find a seat on the bench on fantasy teams.
