The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be without DeSean Jackson and Carl Nassib for Sunday’s season finale against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons released their final injury reports for their matchup in the last week of the 2018 NFL season.

Despite not practicing for the entire week, wide receiver DeSean Jackson and defensive end Carl Nassib still have a chance to play on Sunday as the Bucs listed them as doubtful.

The odds are stacked against them, but it keeps the door open if they are feeling healthier after morning warmups.

Nassib dealt with a shoulder injury during the week. He has played in every game this season, accumulating a career-high 6.5 sacks to go along with two forced fumbles. Tampa Bay could be without a critical part of their pass rush against a talented Atlanta offense.

Jackson played his first game in a month last week against Dallas. He caught a pass over the middle of the field and was stepped on by a defender, which forced him to leave the game early. Injuries have played a significant role in Jackson’s ineffectiveness down the stretch.

After reports surfaced regarding Jackson’s displeasure playing in Tampa Bay, this is likely Jackson’s last chance to suit up in red and pewter.

Linebacker Devante Bond and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul are the only other Buccaneers carrying an injury designation. They are both questionable. Bond was a late addition to the report after he came down with an illness.

Pierre-Paul has battled through injuries all season, but he looks like he will tough it out one more time. He is the first Buccaneers since Simeon Rice to have a double-digit sack season.

The Falcons will enter the game healthy. The only player who will miss the game is guard Wes Schweitzer. Tevin Coleman and Julio Jones were able to log practice time so they won’t carry an injury designation heading into the contest.
