Cornerback. Packers. Bashaud Breeland. 9. player. 49.
Tampa Bay will have one of the youngest secondaries in the league next season. Between Vernon Hargreaves, Justin Evans, Carlton Davis and M.J. Stewart, the unit will have little experience compared to other groups around the league.
Adding more young talent will undoubtedly be a priority in the draft, but finding experienced players in free agency will be key. Bashaud Breeland should be high on Tampa Bay’s list for targets in free agency.

After failing a physical with the Carolina Panthers before the 2018 season, Breeland signed with the Packers in the middle of the season. He has performed well, despite dealing with injuries.
In six games, Breeland has two interceptions and a fumble recovery. His ability to make plays is something Tampa Bay is desperate for. The Bucs have a combined eight interceptions on the season, adding a veteran who attacks the football will be a necessity in the coming months.
Plus, Breeland will be 27 next season and has a good track record with injuries aside from his late start in 2018.
Assuming the Bucs don’t want to break the bank on a high-priced corner, Breeland would be a fine addition to a young, developing defensive backfield.
