DC Gus Bradley – Los Angeles Chargers

Gus Bradley could make a return to Tampa Bay after his three-year stint as linebackers coach under Jon Gruden from 2006-2008.

A few years ago, Bradley was the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He finished with a putrid 14-48 record, but two seasons of success as the defensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Chargers may have repaired his reputation.

Bradley’s defense propelled the Chargers to an impressive 12-4 record. This isn’t the only Bradley-led defense that has had success. Remember, he was the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks during the days of the “Legion of Boom.”

He didn’t get any head coaching interviews last offseason, but another successful campaign in Los Angeles could get him more looks.

Often, head coaches that fail in their first jobs get a second chance. If Bradley’s defenses continue to perform, he may get another call.
