The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will announce their head coach next week, according to JoeBucsFan.com and that coach will be Bruce Arians.

According to JoeBucsFans.com, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will announce their head coach no later than next Tuesday. The report also states that Bruce Arians is likely the head coach, although they could not “confirm Arians specifically with 100 percent certainty.”

Still, this news comes as a shock, Tampa Bay seemed to be in the running for Arians, but after a pair of interviews with Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, and Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards, it appeared the search might take a few more weeks.

The Bucs could be one of the first teams to fill their head coaching vacancy, assuming they do indeed make the announcement in the coming days.

On the other hand, The Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud reported that there is no timetable on when the Bucs plan to announce their next head coach.

Either way, it seems like the reports stirred up “Buccaneers Twitter.” Fans are begging to see if Arians will become the Bucs newest head coach.

Arians had a strong run with the Arizona Cardinals from 2013-2017. He accumulated a 49-30-1 record, making the playoffs twice in his tenure. The Cardinals finished under .500 just once during Arians tenure.

He also has strong ties with general manager Jason Licht, who was in a front office role when Arians was in Arizona.

Jameis Winston can also benefit from Arians taking the head job. Arians has always supported Winston. He seems to believe that he can become a great quarterback.

All along, Arias has seemed like the frontrunner for the Tampa Bay job. He was the first candidate to be linked to the franchise just days after the Bucs canned Dirk Koetter canned.
